TripVision now available through CalAmp
Noregon and CalAmp announced Tuesday the completion of a major milestone in their partnership that will bring remote diagnostic capabilities to thousands of fleets.
Noregon's remote diagnostic application, TripVision, is now available to any fleet equipped with CalAmp's telematics hardware.
Noregon says TripVision is a leading remote diagnostic application for commercial trucks, due in part to its user-friendly approach to providing real-time insights about the health, safety, and performance status of all fleet vehicles.
TripVision empowers fleets of any size to monitor their vehicles and set configurable alerts when issues arise. Offering coverage for all makes, models, and components, TripVision's holistic diagnostic approach provides visibility into the vehicle's overall state, making it simple to monitor engines, aftertreatment, ADAS, and much more from a single application.
"Working with CalAmp to bring the joint solution to the marketplace has been a wonderful opportunity," says David Shuttleworth, product a manager at Noregon. "This launch is a great step forward in Noregon and CalAmp's shared vision of making trucking safer and more efficient."
CalAmp is a connected intelligence company that helps businesses and people track, monitor, and protect their vital assets. CalAmp is an industry-leading provider of telematics solutions, edge computing technology, and hardware. Fleets who partner with a telematics company utilizing CalAmp devices connected to a Class 6 vehicle or higher can now activate TripVision with no additional vehicle installations or hardware needed, the company says.
"We are thrilled to partner with the vehicle data experts at Noregon to integrate TripVision's predictive maintenance capabilities with CalAmp's edge to cloud technology stack and application," says Jeff Clark, chief product officer for CalAmp. "Together, we can offer fleet operators visibility and diagnostic intelligence in one unified view. Our joint mission is to help ensure that heavy duty vehicles maintain optimal performance, while enabling efficiency and profitability for the entire fleet."
The companies say fleets with CalAmp telematics hardware installed on their vehicles can contact their telematics representative today and add TripVision to their current package.
