Tesla adds Cybertruck Winter Tire Package, Core Wheel Covers to online shop - Drive Tesla

Tesla has added two new items to their online shop for the Cybertruck, and for the first time, one of them is available in Canada. Or at least will be very soon.

On Tuesday a new Winter Tire Package was added to the Tesla Shop. The package is available immediately for Cybertruck owners in the US, but will only be available for Canadians in October, which makes sense as the first deliveries are scheduled to begin that month.

The Cybertruck Winter Tire Package will be essential for Canadian winters. Tesla says the Goodyear DuraTrac tires, which are Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) rated, give the Cybertruck “improved traction, stability and braking efficiency in conditions under 7°C.”

The package includes the four tires, four 20″ Cyberwheels, 4 BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) tire pressure sensors, and lug nuts. It does not include lug nut covers or wheel caps

The package $4,150 in Canada or $3,000 in the US.

Are expecting delivery of your Cybertruck in October or November? Fear not, Tesla confirmed with us that they will keep a supply available for Canadians and it won’t be out of stock by the time your delivery comes around.

While most Cybertruck owners are still waiting to receive their wheel covers, Tesla has added the new and smaller Core Wheel Covers to the online shop.

The Core Wheel Covers first started appearing on Cybertrucks last month. Along with being smaller, they were also paired with All-Season Tires, instead of All-Terrain tires. The combination results in some impressive efficiency, with some owners reporting getting as low as 285wh/mile, or 177wh/km.

The Cybertruck Core Wheel Covers cost US$75 each, and are only available in the US.
