UPDATE (8:15 p.m.): The 15-year-old who died was identified as Houston Glass. He attended McGill-Toolen High School and was a ninth grader.

WKRG spoke with both the mother and father.

"He was the sweetest, most kind- hearted boy," Houston's mom, Dr. Jennifer Randolph. "He was the best son. He was athletic and had tons of friends. We are going to miss his hugs."

"Houston was the kindest, most polite, most courageous, and most loving son anyone could ever ask for," said Houston's father, Dr. Glenn Glass. "Everyone that knew him, loved him. He loved his family, his friends, and the outdoors. He was a hunter and an avid fisherman, but most importantly, he was my best friend. He was a wonderful son, and our family will miss him always."

WKRG also spoke with on of Houston's teachers at McGill-Toolen. Coach Trey Petite, an algebra teacher, said: "Oh man, when I heard the news, it was very heartbreaking. I actually will say, I had a bad feeling in my stomach when I first heard what had happened, and my thought and prayers go out to him and his family."

A rosary prayer will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church on Springhill Avenue.

STOCKTON, Ala. (WKRG) — A utility terrain vehicle crash left a teenager dead in the Stockton community on Sunday, according to a news release from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office.

On Sunday around 3 p.m. deputies were called to Stockton for a report of a crash involving a ATV. Once they arrived, deputies with the BCSO investigated the crash. That investigation showed that a 15-year-old boy was driving the ATV on private property and "was involved in a rollover crash."

The 15-year-old died from the injuries he sustained during the crash.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with this family and community as they grieve and begin to work through this tragedy," read the BCSO release.
