Man sentenced after car was found to be missing wheel nut
A MAN has been banned from driving after his vehicle was found missing a wheel nut.
Muhammad Rafiq, 27, of Marlborough Road, Manningham, faced a charge of using a motor vehicle/trailer in a condition likely to cause danger of injury.
He used a car, namely a Skoda Rapid, when its front off-side wheel was missing a wheel nut.
Rafiq was caught in the Lumb Lane area of Bradford on October 21, 2022.
Rafiq was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months.
Court documents state the disqualification was necessary due to repeat offending.
He also was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £176 as well as costs of £90.
Rafiq was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 5.
